09:30 AM – Gangaramaya Temple (Duration: 45 minutes)

Begin with Colombo’s most important Buddhist temple. This architectural marvel combines Sinhala, Thai, Indian, and Chinese styles. 02:30 PM – Colombo City Centre & Odel Shopping (Duration: 1.5 hours)

Watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean, sample street food from vendors (must try: isso wadey – spicy prawn fritters, and achcharu – spicy fruit salad), fly kites, and people-watch.
